Friday 2/12-Sunday2/14 Volcano and The Beach

So it was a long but fun weekend.  We went to the Sámara beach on the pacific coast.   It was a 5 1/2 hour ride from Luis' house.  Rafa's family had a BIG house that everyone stayed at.  Including some of Rafa's relatives there must have been 50-60 people.   The food was amazing.  This group of parents have sacrificed so much and have worked so hard (REALLY) to give our PRHS students an amazing experience.   I am VERY grateful.   Yerlin's dad in particular has gone about and beyond.  Everybody met at the park in La Fortuna.   Most of the volcano pictures are from that park.  It was spectacular.   It isn't all that often that it is clear - very frequently it is clouded over - we were very fortunate.   I guess I will end here and just comment on the pictures.   Hope you enjoy them....

every morning fishermen come in with their catch.   This was an example.....
Dish soap-liquid in a bottle not really used in LatinCountreis. You wet your dish cloth/scrubber, rub it over the soap, and wash the dish(es)

  1. OK people - I asked SKip what that snake/eel thing was that the man is holding and his only comment was "edible." I'm not sure if I want to know anything else!!!!
